....Governor Siegelman spoke with us more about democracy than
about him. His concern for our country is echoed not just in his unjust
conviction, but his worry of the overreach of Executive Power within
the Bush Administration.
The Governor believes that, at the very least, it is Congress’
obligation to the citizens of this country to investigate the corruption,
the illegal firings of U.S. Attorneys, the illegal occupation of Iraq and
others, actually, too numerous to mention.
