1. Harassing letters continue to vex
gubernatorial candidate Bill Johnson
By Markeshia Ricks  for the MontgomeryAdvertiser.com

After notifying authorities and the public that someone is attempting to
scare him and his family, Republican candidate for governor Bill
Johnson said that he has received three more pieces of harassing
mail.

Johnson said he has been receiving harassing mail since he
announced that he was stepping down from his position as director of
the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs in June
to run for governor.
That mail recently turned threatening when someone sent a piece of
mail that had a picture of Johnson with a soldier holding a gun to his
Johnson's head, with the phrase "Say Goodbye to Bill" underneath it.
